Unusual 18th Century European carved wood polychromed & gilt Armorial Coat of Arms cartouche wall plaque.
The central oval dome depicts a heraldic coat of arms featuring a large crown set over two pairs of fleur-de-lis, three horns and what appears to be a Asian ponytailed figure with a lantern? The green outer plaque is framed by gold gilt swirling scrolls.
Possibly French.
Good period condition. Strong polychrome colour remains. Structurally solid and no damages.
Hook to the back for wall hanging.
Very decorative display piece.
