Rare, beautiful and very good condition vintage Polar Bear skin rug from 1980’s Arctic Canada.
Impressive and displays very attractively, and also a good practical size at L: 248 x W: 229 cm.
Very good condition thick soft fur and lovely colour. Nicely modelled mounted head, with composite mouth and teeth, and glass eyes. All original claws present (repair stitching around 3 or 4 claws). No tears or rips to the fur.
The skin is mounted to a grey / pale blue velvet trim, and blue under lining.
Provenance: Purchased by previous owner in 1985 from Arctic Co-operatives Ltd.
